Injection Molded Instrument Cluster Assembly

We built three separate molds to produce the parts of this instruments cluster assembly for Volkswagen automobiles.

Front cover made from polycarbonate:

Part has a show surface with very high polish

Mold has a #1 finish in the steel (mirror finish)

Vent cover made from less expensive ABS resin; part not visible to consumer

Support structure has several cores that create ribbing approximately an inch deep
