The front cover of this

instrument cluster is the part that the consumer would actually see.
Therefore, special considerations had to be made concerning the physical
appearance of the finished part.
Part has a show surface with a very high polish
Deep cavity in mold due to depth of part
Mold was built with a #1 (mirror) finish in the tool steel
Steel standing up from one side across parting lines to the other
Lifters were used to form latches which would snap the rear vent cover
ABS plastic used to manufacture the part
