Injection Molded Power Distribution Box: Front & Back Covers
The power
distribution box covers were molded from Polypropylene with 10% glass
filler to combat warpage and keep part as flat as possible. A part of
this nature and length made out of 100% polypropylene would tend to warp and
not be flat without the added mineral.
Mold has many intricate shutoffs on the ends that form unique,
uncommon latches that snap onto lower housing in its full assembly
Back cover has very large core in the center of part for water lines
placement
Front cover laser engraved with diagram showing location, function and amperage of each fuse
Texture added to the outside of the front cover
Assembly designed to be mounted under the hood
