Injection Molded Power Distribution Box: Lower Housing
The mold we built for this power distribution box lower housing for a
mid-size SUV SUV has:
A side ejection
Large slides on B side
Lifters and 2 stage ejection on B side
Hot screw bushing
Latches on the outside of the part which are formed by steel standing up from the A side, shunting off on the B side
Very tall cores standing up on the B side of the tool
Pockets in the A side that form areas for terminal blocks to snap down into
Ejector blades
Many latch features formed by steel standing up on one side of the tool, shunting off on the other side of the tool
Many intricate shutoffs on the ends that form unique, uncommon latches that snap onto
upper housing in its full assembly
