A customer came to us requesting help in re-designing this plastic part, a
transmission switch cover. As previously designed, the part was not manufacturable.
We were able to devise a creative solution to their problem.

- Splitting the part with a "living hinge" allows it to be molded properly
- Part is folded to form the shape
after being ejected from the mold
